Central City girls have strong finish to regular season

In their last taste of competition before the postseason, the Central City Bison didn’t disappoint. On Friday, Central City they hit the mats at the Raymond Central Invite, and from the field of nearly thirty teams competing at the Mustangs’ annual meet, the Green and Gold held their own.

Bison coast past Scouts 58-30

When it matters most, the Central City Bison are playing some of their best basketball of the season. Last Thursday in David City, the Green and Gold ran away with a 58-30 win over the hosting Scouts, marking their fifth win in their last five games.

Central City places third at conference

The Central City Bison placed third at the LouPlatte Conference Wrestling Tournament, with the Green and Gold using the conference fray to get a look at competition both familiar and unknown.

Central City goes 2-1 last week

Following a fourgame losing skid, the Central City boys rattled off back-to-back wins going into their home meeting with Schuyler. Against the Warriors, that streak would increase to four games as the Green and Gold coasted to a 65-21 victory.

Gonzales, Peters are LPC champions

The Central City girls’ wrestling team had no trouble picking up hardware at the LouPlatte Conference Wrestling Tournament last week. The Bison had three champions at the conference meet, with several others snagging hardware.
