Georgea “Georg” L. Hood, 69, of Central City, died at her home on October 4, 2026.

Norma Ann Holtorf, 80, of Hordville, passed away on September 23, 2026, in Central City. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, September 29, 2026 at Fridhem Lutheran Church in Hordville, with PMA Jan Anderson officiating.

Chad Michael Lammermann, 47, of Marquette, passed away on July 22, 2026. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 3, 2026, at Richland Cemetery near Marquette. A Celebration of Life will follow at the cemetery after the inurnment.

Melvin Keith “Mel” Garrett, 87, died on Thursday, September 17, 2026 at Homestead Assisted Living in Kearney. Memorial services will be held at Fairview Methodist Church near Central City on Saturday, October 3, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Gordon Paulsen officiating.

Ronald D. Glasser, 96, of Clarks, died on Sunday, September 13, 2026 at his home near Clarks.

Edward Alan Kyes, 82, of Central City, passed away at Litzenberg Long Term Care in Central City on Monday, September 7, 2026 after fighting cancer for several months. He was surrounded by family.

Sharon K. Pedersen, 76, of Polk, passed away Wednesday, September 16, 2026, at Grand Island Regional Medical Center.

Edward Alan Kyes, 82, of Central City, passed away at Litzenberg Memorial Long Term Care in Central City on Monday, September 7, 2026 after fighting cancer for several months. Edward was surrounded by family.

Payton Lorrainne Ackerson, 16, went to her heavenly home after an e-bike accident surrounded by her family and her boyfriend Hudson and his family. Payton succumbed to her injuries in the early morning hours of September 6, 2026 at Children’s Hospital in Omaha.

Karen Elizabeth Blase, 85 of York, died Monday, September 7, 2026 in York. She was born on September 2, 1941 to Robert B. and Blanche (Shroyer) Nelson in Polk. On August 2, 1959, she was united in marriage to Milan Lee Blase in York.
