One of the Best in Nebraska

Body
It was a great season for the Central City/Fullerton Post #6 Juniors who finished their season in Alliance for the Class B State Tournament. Following a 10-5 loss to Wahoo and a 4-3 loss to Holdrege, their season came to an end with a 24-5 record and Area B5 Championship. The tournament didn’t produce wins, but it still produced impressive moments. Left to right, from top left: Last Wednesday the team clinched the B5 area crown. Martin Gonzales moves for a ball with Terrick Gonsior backing him up. Both had moments of greatness this season with Gonsior battling through injury to help his squad. Oliver Herman was playing catcher on Sunday, but last Wednesday he was the hero of the game as he drove in the winning run and also pitched lights out. Kayden Morner has also emerged as a pitcher to watch as he had multiple great outings this season. At the plate there were some major highlights on Sunday. Those included Colter Lueders who drove in a pair of runs with some massive hits that resulted in a ground rule double. Riley Lavene also was on fire with two hits and Conner Erickson had a hit.
