Body The Nebraska Christian Eagles brought a deep roster of wrestlers to the District D-3 Meet at Shelby last weekend; however, the Eagles’ season ended in Polk County. Eleven Eagles hit the mats at Shelby-Rising City High School on Friday.

BISON REPEAT AS LPC CHAMPIONS

Body Since playing in early December, the Central City and Centura girls basketball teams have been on a collision course towards the LouPlatte Conference Tournament’s championship game. In that first matchup, the Bison edged out a 34-32 victory.

GRESS SISTERS QUALIFY FOR STATE WRESTLING

Body The next chapter in the history of High Plains girls’ wrestling is set to be written late this month. On Saturday, High Plains’s Dakota Gress and Bailey Gress both qualified for the NSAA Class B Girls State Wrestling Championships at the District B-2 meet.
