MONDAY, JUNE 8 Officer received an animal complaint in the 2700 block of 19th Street, was unable to contact caller. Officer responded a theft complaint in the 2700 block of 25th Avenue, situation resolved.

Jeff Jensen • Superintendent On Thursday, June 18th, the Republican-Nonpareil published an article regarding the Central City Public Schools Special Board Meeting that was held on June 9th. We appreciate their attention to this special board meeting and their coverage. In reality, most patrons had no idea that over the course of the last two months, the district had dealt with some complex and difficult financial information. Further, multiple government entities within the community had been dealt a difficult scenario to navigate which included Central City Public Schools, the City of Central City, Merrick County, and other entities within Merrick County.
