Central City Public Schools to present Broadway-caliber musical The Central City High School musical is just around the corner, set to hit the stage four times this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. This year, Central City students are staging Mary Poppins, and to quote the magical nanny herself, the show is shaping up to be “practically perfect in every way.” “We are hard at work getting ready for the shows,” said Director Dane Christensen of the upcoming performance on Monday, “and we’re excited for the public to come see what we have been working on.” For the 2026 Central City High School Musical, the district is staging an adaptation of Mary Poppins, adapted for the stage by Cameron Mackintosh from the original stories of P.L.
