Body In Clarks, Frontier Soap Shack is now open on main street, as they opened their door to the public for the first time on June 27. Frontier Soap Shack has been started by Sue Ward as a way for local crafters and vendors to have a space to sell their products.

Nebraska chicken and eggs

Body All layers in Nebraska during May 2024 totaled 8.50 million, up from 7.90 million the previous year, according to the USDA’s National Agricultural Statistics Service. Nebraska egg production during May totaled 216 million eggs, up from 196 million in 2023.

Nebraska grain stocks

Body Nebraska corn stocks in all positions on June 1, 2024 totaled 433 million bushels, up 5% from 2023, according to the USDA’s National Agricultural Statistics Service. Of the total, 250 million bushels are stored on farms, up 9% from a year ago.

Nebraska hog inventory down 3%

Body Nebraska inventory of all hogs and pigs on June 1, 2024, was 3.65 million head, according to the USDA’s National Agricultural Statistics Service. This was down 3% from June 1, 2023, and down 3% from March 1, 2024.
