Body The Central City Bison had a chance to get familiar with the state championship golf course last week. On both Tuesday and Thursday, the Bison played rounds at Indianhead Golf Club in Grand Island.

Body Conference and school records fall at LouPlatte Conference meet Twenty-five medals, nine of which were gold, went to the Central City girls at last Friday’s LouPlatte Conference Track and Field Championships.

Body With districts just around the corner, Central City/Centura looks primed for a deep postseason run. Last week on their home diamond, the Kernels notched backto- back wins over Twin River and Elkhorn to bring their final regular season record to 15-5.

Body The course was one challenge to overcome, the competition proved to be another when the Central City Bison made the trip to Columbus last Thursday for the Lakeview Golf Invitational.
