What a week it was. As you look at the front page of this week’s newspaper there is a good chance that three of those news articles will be featured in our annual top stories of the year.

You may be wondering why the sports section has been so thin lately and the short answer is that this has been a unique start to the spring sports season. Weather has slowed the start significantly, but also on Tuesday the Sandy Creek Invitational was postponed for a reason I have never seen before.

As I look back and reflect on the end of my fifth year in education, nothing can compare to the first year I have encountered here at Central City, as a secondgrade teacher. This last year has been one of my best years as an educator, and it is thanks to all the amazing people within our community.
