Junior Class President is thankful for prom helpers
Editor:
On behalf of the Junior Class at Central City High School, we wanted to thank the following individuals and businesses in our community for making prom, one of the defining moments in our lives, such a significant and incendiary memory. First and foremost, we’d like to thank Courtney Root of Magnolias Boutique for advising and providing insight into coordinating and decorating the 4H building; her guidance and suggestions were more than we could have ever envisioned. We would also like to thank Bill Bolte and the Merrick County Historical Museum for lending us the 1920’s vehicle as decoration for the Great Gatsby theme as it truly brought the environment to life. Van Galusha was very willing and helpful in providing a hydraulic lift to set up certain necessities for the event, and we thank him for his generous contribution. We’d also like to thank Isaac Jefferson for not only lending us his canopy and chandelier, but also for educating us in properly setting the items up. We would like to thank the Merrick Medical Center for providing bracelets for the attendees as well as Stewart Fox of Fox Theater for providing popcorn and for bringing chrome stanchions with burgundy ropes for the entrance, both of whom relished our infatuation in the event. And finally, we’d like to thank Trish Schuller for providing us with a limitless supply of decorations pertaining to the prom theme.
Sincerely, Van Fasbender President of the Junior Class of 2024
