Clarks benefits from NFS tree donation
Body
Thanks to a collaborative effort of the Nebraska Forest Service and Nebraska Statewide Arboretum, the Village of Clarks was awarded 10 Free Trees to plant in the community. TheArboretum provides the communities with trees that are already 4-8 feet in height and native to the area. The trees were provided by Great Plains Nursery of Weston, NE. Trees received were Shumard Oak, Kentucky Coffetree, Linden, Black Oak, Black Cherry and a Cottonwood tree. These trees were planted around the town at the Clarks Park, Clarks Villa, along West Amity Street on a section known as Memorial Lane, and the Swimming Pool.
