As you look back over the history of Central City this millennium there are some big moments that standout as events that helped shape the community as we see it today.

It had been three years since the Central City Area Chamber of Commerce was able to hold their annual Gala and for some it was a mystery if the annual event would make a return.

Banks Wraps and signs has now opened a new, second location just outside of Central City, on the east side of town. With the larger shop space, they will now be able to work on larger vehicles and expand the business.

Two weeks ago the community joined together with the Merrick County Board of Supervisors and the Litzenberg Long Term Care Board as options and future planning were discussed in regards to the future of the Merrick County owned long term care facility.
