Many great auction items were presented including this one-of-a-kind painting from worldfamous speed painter Revel who also painted the image upside down. Central City High School DECA students shine at ninth annual Interview Night

Monday, March 25th Central City High School DECA members took part in the ninth annual interview night at the high school. 17 different members of the community took part in interviewing the 17 members of DECA in order to help apply their skills they have learned and also to get advice as they prepare to enter adult life and the adult work force.

Grain Safety Takes Center Stage: Nebraska Corn Board and Nebraska Soybean Board Promote Stand Up 4 Grain Safety Week

The Nebraska Corn Board (NCB) and Nebraska Soybean Board (NSB) have partnered together for the 2024 Stand Up 4 Grain Safety Week because everyone deserves to go home from work each day. The goal is to raise awareness among farmers and agricultural workers about the importance of safety when working in and around grain bins. This initiative also emphasizes the significance of overall safety practices on the farm.

Farmers and Ranchers Champion Agriculture to State Senators in Honor of National Agriculture Week

As Nebraskans are further removed from where their food, fiber, and energy are grown, it is important for Nebraska’s farmers and ranchers to share their story with state legislators. Nebraska Farm Bureau’s (NEFB) Promotion and Education (P&E) and Young Farmers and Ranchers (YF&R) Committees, which are made up of farmers and ranchers across the state, did just that during National Agriculture Week.
