2023 Goldenrod Conference Basketball

Body
It was a big Saturday for Eagles Nation as both basketball teams battled St. Francis for Goldenrod Conference titles. For the Nebraska Christian boys it was a moment of triumph as they avenged a December loss with a 69-56 victory thanks to a great team effort. The girls were not as fortunate as they suffered a 52-38 defeat to finish as the Goldenrod Conference Runner-up. Both teams were back in action on Tuesday when they each notched their tenth win of the season in wins over Heartland and they will return to action on Thursday with a girls/boys doubleheader against Wood River at Nebraska Christian.

Five Wins and Counting

Body
The number on the jersey, not to be confused with Jerzie, says it all as Teagan Sadler (5) and her Bison teammates secured their fifth win of the season on Monday. Sadler played well in the win over Madison with ten points and also led the team in scoring on Tuesday in a loss to Boone Central. The team will now get ready for Lou-Platte Conference Tournament action beginning on Tuesday in Ravenna.
