The Central City Bison wrestling team has kicked off their 2023/24 season with a bang, showcasing their strength and skill in both dual and invitational competitions.
The Central City High School girls basketball team got off to a 2-0 start for the first time in 15 years thanks to solid play inside the paint. Againt Gibbon, Emma Steinke (3) showed her skill going to the hoop, but it has been senior Addie Buhlke (25) who has stole the show for the Bison.
Coming into the new season there were holes from last year’s lineup to fill for the Bison. Guys like Truman Ryan (15) and Colter Lueders (12) were expected to play much larger roles this season. Both have already been key contributors for the Bison in a pair of wins.
