The Central City High School softball team celebrated an exhilarating victory against the Malcolm Clippers last Saturday, winning the C-2 District Championship. The win has fast-tracked the Bison to the NSAA State Softball Tournament scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday in Hastings. Central City took on Malcolm in a best-of-three series, and after a slow offensive start, they exploded offensively to help notch their 31st victory of the season and their biggest to date.
