Bison Stadium buzzed with energy and competition on a beautiful Tuesday afternoon, as it played host to the 33rd Merrick County Invitational. The event was a showcase of young talent, with student-athletes from Central City, High Plains, and Nebraska Christian making their mark across a range of track and field events.

Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, and baseball enthusiasts of all ages, gather ‘round as we dive into the highly anticipated preview of the 2024 Central City/Centura Kernels baseball program. This year, the Kernels embark on a new chapter, taking the field for the first time without their former comrades from Fullerton, making every pitch, hit, and catch part of history in the making.

The Bison Dance Team presented their Tiny Bison Dance night on Monday March 11, 2024 at the Bison Dome. This is the big end of the year fundraiser all of the dance team looks forward too.

After competing in O’Neill this past Saturday for their Nebraska USA District meet, where Central City Junior Wrestling finished in eighth place out of 49 teams, the club will set their sites on their home meet. The following weekend will bring the Nebraska USA State Tournament where 21 state qualifiers will compete.
