It had been an up and down season for the High Plains Storm football team, but they came into the final week of the regular season controlling their own destiny. A win would advance them to the playoffs, but a loss to Fullerton would end their season.

A total of twenty teams entered into the D-2 District Cross Country Meet at the Elks Country Club in Hastings last Thursday looking for glory. As the dust settled on a busy day of cross country action one school stood above the rest and that team was the Nebraska Christian Eagles.

In just a blink of an eye the 2022 high school volleyball season has flown by as area teams wrapped up their regular season and now will prepare to enter in to subdistrict volleyball action this upcoming Monday and Tuesday. While schedules are yet to be announced teams are now preparing to see their season continue in triumph or come to an end in heartbreak.
