This season has brought with it many new matchups as schedules have been reworked and that led to a matchup between the High Plains Community Storm and the Giltner Hornets on Friday night. High Plains looked to keep their momentum rolling following a win over East Butler, but the Hornets were also looking to add another win.

The Patriots are off to a hot start having not yet played a close game with four wins by a large margin including a 29-7 victory over a previously unbeaten Syracuse team last week.

This past week brought with it plenty of growth for the Central City High School golf team who seen multiple days of action including on Tuesday as they hit the course for the Fullerton Invitational.
