Body The 2021-22 season was a long and tough one for the Central City High School girls’ basketball team as they waited 15 games to pickup their first and only victory of the season. This season the team came in with a new mindset as they looked to show improvement from last year.

Body There are plenty of reasons for Bison wrestling fans to be excited coming into a new season. A hard-working group has begun their journey towards self-improvement ahead of district weekend in February and they are off to a solid start.

Body Through the opening week of the season, it has been mixed results for High Plains Community on the hardwood. The Lady Storm are off to a great start with a pair of wins while the Storm boys are still searching for that first win after a pair of tough losses.

Body There has been no shortage of wrestling success over the years at High Plains Community and the current crop of Storm wrestlers hit the mat last week looking to get off to a fast start to the 2022-23 season with the hopes of continuing a tradition of success.
