Chad Michael Lammermann, 47, of Marquette, passed away on July 22, 2026. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 3, 2026, at Richland Cemetery near Marquette. A Celebration of Life will follow at the cemetery after the inurnment.

Chad was born on June 17, 1979, in Grand Island to Chuck and Dee Dee (Barton) Lammermann. He attended elementary and junior high school in Central City and graduated from Aurora High School in 1997, where he was a member of the National Honor Society.

Following high school, Chad spent some time in Germany before attending Nancy Bounds Modeling School in Omaha.

After graduating, he moved to New York City, where he lived for a time before eventually returning to Nebraska.

Back in Nebraska, Chad became a skilled tile and flooring installer in York before going to work for J&B Powder Coating in Aurora. He later chose to become self-employed and a stay-at-home dad. It was during this time that he discovered his love and passion for welding and metal fabrication.

Chad was a true artist in his work. He had a unique vision and an incredible attention to even the smallest details. His creativity and craftsmanship could be seen in his metal art, which is displayed in several states.

Chad loved spending time with family and friends, as well as his companion, “BOI.” Some of his favorite times were spent at the river or working in his shop.

He was always willing to lend a hand and help anyone with anything.

Those who knew Chad will remember his generosity, creativity, willingness to help others, and the enthusiasm he brought to every conversation. His presence, his stories, and his passion for life will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Alauna J.

Lammermann; mother, Dee Dee Barton; sister, Billie (Bob) Condy; nieces, Charlee and Kaylee Condy; and nephew, Kellan Condy.

He was preceded in death by his father, Chuck Lammermann, and his sister Cassie Mitchell.
