Dorothy Grace (Williams) Kienker, 97, of Omaha, formerly of Central City and Grand Island, passed away on August 29, 2026 surrounded by her loving family. A visitation will be held on Friday, September 25th, from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m.

RuthAnn Wachal, 72, of Clarks, died Friday, September 11, 2026, at her home near Clarks surrounded by family. RuthAnn’s wishes were to have a private family service at a later date.

Thomas J. ‘Tom’ Geren, age 85, of Fremont died on Sunday, August 30, 2026 at the Heritage at Shalimar Gardens Thomas J. Geren was born in Hastings on October 12, 1940 to Michael “Rube” Geren and Della E. McGowan.

Marcia K. Grafe, 79, of Omaha, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 28, 2026, at home due to Parkinson’s.

Marian K. Lepp of Lincoln, passed away on August 27, 2026.

Ruth Ann Sandell, 86, of Polk, died on Saturday, August 29, 2026 at Midwest Covenant Homes in Stromsburg. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 3, 2026 at 10:30 a.m.

Ruth M. Gillan, 90, of Central City, died on Tuesday, August 18, 2026 at Accura Healthcare in Fullerton.

Linda K. Ksiazek, 83, was born on May 17, 1943, in Stromsburg, to Gerald Franklin Schott and Della May Whited Schott. She passed away on July 23, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family and the memories of a life devoted to her loved ones, dear friends, and the communities she cherished.

Richard Hensley passed away at the age of 100-plus on August 19, 2026. He was born on November 12, 1925, near Chapman, but spent most of his early life in Central City.
