The Central City Republican-Nonpareil | November 6, 2025 Glen Joseph Brazda, 86, of Fullerton, passed away on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, at CHI Health—St. Elizabeth in Lincoln.

Janet Lee Belitz, 88, of Central City, died Friday, October 17, 2025 at CHI Health—St. Francis in Grand Island.

LuEtta E. Berry, 96, of Holdrege, died on Monday, October 13, 2025 at Christian Homes Health Care in Holdrege.

Brock Daniel Chase, 40, of Central City, took his final bow on Friday, October 3, 2025. And if there’s a party in heaven, you can bet he’s already taken over the playlist, told a few wildly inappropriate jokes, danced like a white boy, and challenged someone to an arm-wrestling match. Funeral services were held on Saturday, October 11th at 2:00 p.m. at Third City Christian Church in Grand Island, with Pastor Dan Walter officiating. Interment was held at a later date.

David R. “Dave” Larson, 90, of Greenfield, Indiana passed away Sunday, October 19, 2025, at his residence.

Jack R. Neel, 84, of Clarks, died on Sunday, October 12, 2025 at CHI Heath—St.

Cleon A. Schwarz, 95, of rural Palmer, died peacefully at his home on Saturday, October 18, 2025.

Carol Marie Wall, 79, of Aurora, formerly of Polk, died on Friday, October 24, 2025 at Methodist Hospital in Omaha. Visitation will be held at the Solt-Wagner Community Room in Central City on Saturday, November 1, 2025 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Private family interment will be held at the Central City Cemetery.

Roger W. Werner, 91, of Polk, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 3, 2025 at Annie Jeffrey Hospital in Osceola.
