Palmer one act rooted in Realism

Twenty-three students are a part of this year’s production November marks one-act play season across Nebraska, and at Palmer Public Schools, the Tigers have settled into a steady rhythm as their production moves toward the final stretch of competitions. This year’s play, A Night Under the Stars by Tracy Wells, takes audiences to a quiet campground where, in a series of vignettes, a cast of characters reflect on connection—with nature, with each other, and according to the play’s plot synopsis, with “the undeniable human spirit.” “It’s about two park rangers discussing how moments can change you, and [the rangers] drift through different campsites and watch different interactions come into play,” said One Act Director Jaime Green of the production last month.
