1943 Lightening Strike

What are the chances of being struck by lightening? The odds that one will be struck by lightning in the U.S. during one’s lifetime are 1 in 15,300. On average, 270 people in the U.S. are struck per year, and only about 10 percent of that number die from the event. Around the world, approximately 2,000 people are struck by lightning every year.
Hometown Heroes Central City’s Dwayne Harvill moved to the community when he was just a kid dreaming of one day being a police officer. Now his childhood dreams have come true as he left, but made his way back to the community that he calls home and took a job with the Central City Police Department.

The Central City Police Department has brought on a new officer to the force. Dwayne Harvill, who has an extensive background in emergency medical services, firefighting and corrections, brings an extensive number of skills and experience to the department.
