National FFA Week is upon us. What does this mean? FFA week is celebrated throughout all fifty states and in Puerto Rico and the United States Virgin Islands as a way to bring awareness to the largest youth-led organization in the world. It is also designed to celebrate the vast opportunities that the agriculture industry has to offer. The Central City FFA Chapter was chartered in 1932 and has been educating youth in the food, fiber, and natural resources industries since. Fast forward to this school year and there are lots of great things being done in the Central City FFA Chapter. We currently have eighty-five members in our chapter, and our students are living out the FFA motto: Learning to Do, Doing to Learn, Earning to Live, and Living to Serve.

This winter’s temperatures have been a rollercoaster. In just a few weeks, we went from warmer-than-average to subzero cold conditions. These rapid temperature swings are tough on people, but they can be just as hard on our landscapes— and the wildlife that lives in them.

We want to extend our deepest gratitude for everyone being there to show their love and support to our family and to celebrate the life of a truly incredible husband, dad, and papa. Thank you for all the messages, calls, flowers, and food we received.
