P.E.O., a philanthropic organization to promote women’s education, held their monthly meeting at Merrick Medical Center in the Lone Tree conference room. Patrick Avila, President/CEO for Merrick Medical Center, shared the journey of the health care system which began in Central City and then provided insight into the future direction and goals.

We are excited to announce our 2023 Tyler Hook Hillmer memorial scholarship recipient. Gwyn Brown from Palmer Public School will be receiving a $250 scholarship this year to further her education. She plans to study Political Science & Mathematics. She is the daughter of Darrin & Leah Brown.
