“Right when the garage doors opened and the school walked in seeing the dome for the very first time, hearing everyone’s amazing positive opinions hit me. I couldn’t believe it was real. I am so excited to represent the Bison on the front of my jersey in the dome. I got chills thinking about being chosen to play in our awesome facilities. Our school has grown so much in just the past year and we should all celebrate by coming together and supporting one another. I want to give a huge thank you to everyone that contributed to the breathtaking structure. Thank you Central City.” - Caleigh Botsch, Junior “I thought it was phenomenal. I really wasn’t expecting it to look so advanced. I mean the scoreboard looks beyond gorgeous, we have a whole suite in the gym, Trainer Josh’s room is way more spacious and has an ice bath, the lockers don’t look musty and actuallylookcool,theshowersmakemewanttoshoweratschool, the bathrooms have dividers between stalls and have a smooth grey atmosphere to them, the lighting isn’t dim and really gets you to open your eyes, there are a million seats, and the trophy case looks way more appealing. All in all, it feels more advanced than most colleges! I know everyone keeps saying they feel so blessed by this, but it’s one hundred percent true. Our dome is a serious game-changer!”- Van Fasbender, Junior “When I walked into the Dome I was amazed. I couldn’t believe how good it looked and how well it all came together. I was walking around and imagining playing in the dome and how full it would be on game days. The atmosphere of the Dome is so cool and how we will all be able to compete in the dome. With the amount of time that was put into making it, it is so nice. The dome is definitely a place where everyone at Central City can be successful. It was a season to remember for the Nebraska Christian football team as they made a name for themselves as the team that would battle until the very end and find a way to win. It seemed that week in and week out the Eagles found themselves locked in a battle, but last Friday they met their match as they watched the season come to an end.

Nebraska Christian is no stranger to success on the volleyball court and in recent years the Lady Eagles volleyball team has certainly found plenty as their season has finished in Lincoln for the NSAA State Volleyball Championships.

After a brief hiatus from the Class C-1 football playoffs the Central City Bison battled their way back to secure a top 16 finish in the state. The only downside was a rematch with the #2 ranked team in the class staring them down last Friday.

If you are a fan of good ol’ fashion football then Hebron, Nebraska was the place to be last Friday as the Nebraska Christian Eagles came to town looking to pull off an upset over the Thayer Central Titans. It was a battle of epic proportions as both teams came out swinging in a defensive battle.

If there ever was a more perfect time for the gymnasium at Nebraska Christian to have air conditioning, then we certainly were not there for it. A packed house this past Saturday witnessed some fast and furious volleyball action on the court as the gym was packed full of spectators.
