Two Central City girls will represent Nebraska in America’s National Teen-Ager Scholarship Pageant in Nashville Tennessee after Jeralee Shotkoski and Brooke herbig were crowned Miss Nebraska Senior Teen-Ager and Junior Teen-Ager respectively. Central City resident Ashley Collins shoveled her car out from under a blanket of snow on Monday morning after a heavy spring snowstorm dumped more than nine inches of snow on Sunday.

The Central City Police Department participated in the “National U Drive U Text U Pay” high-visibility enforcement grant from April 3-9, 2023. The police department had four officers work 40 over-time hours with four citations issued and 12 contacts made..

And they seek to enrich the lives of the kids by locating and providing the resources that will help them reach their full potential in life. One event that they have been doing every year that the kids are always excited about is Operation Sunshine Camp.
