After much waiting and anticipation, the new Laundromat, Laundry Express, is now open for business. With new machines and a convenient location next to the Central City Mall, the Laundromat is ready to serve the community for many years to come.

Legislative Update

Over the last two weeks we have discussed the origins of public education in America and where we are now. This week, as we consider ways to reform our education system, I will cover the legislation now before us providing for school choice. Among the 50 states in the union, this is something that only Nebraska and North Dakota do not have. All other states do have some form of school choice. Legislative Bill 753 (LB753) is a path to making education more affordable, creating a better product for our kids and giving parents a choice for their children’s education.
