With the first quarter completed, we are turning our attention to the winter portion of the school year. As the seasons change we will be finding ourselves indoors more often.

Hello from the Central City FFA Chapter! The school year has gone by extremely fast and the FFA chapter is just getting started. Our membership drive is nearly complete and we are proud to say we have 75 members! Below you will find an update on some activities in the weeks and months ahead.
Things are heating up as the weather cools down and these days it may be difficult to tell if I am coming or going. There has been plenty of exciting stuff happening all over our community and beyond and first I want to do something that I do not do enough.
As you look down this page it becomes clear that Litzenberg Long Term Care is important to many people in our community. In recent week’s we have seen an outpouring of support for the facility as the facilities future has come into question with high dollar renovations needed.
Someone asking this question probably has not had much experience with the long term care of an aging parent, spouse and/or relative that means the world to them! The long term care that Litzenberg provides to residents and their families cannot be put into words. Their service is absolutely priceless to families who have a family member who needs the help and services that long term care can offer.
Is Long Term Care important to us? I completely agree with and absolutely second everything Ben Nelson said about long Term Care. Two things I would add: First - people, you, me, communities, have money or find the money for the things they want money for.
I live half way across the country from Litzenberg Long Term Care, but my mother lives there and I can’t express in words how important the facility and care of the staff is for me. My mother was the rock of our family.
If you are just pondering on the question “Is Long Term Care Important” let me share my opinion. I, as a caregiver, feel it is very much important and needed.
