Merrick County holds Soybean Clinic

The University of Nebraska Extension’s Soybean Production Clinic, held on February 15, 2024, at the Merrick County Youth and Agriculture Education Center, successfully concluded, drawing a number of soybean farmers and agribusiness professionals. The clinic, part of the Extension Crop Management Training Programs, offered an immersive experience into the world of soybean cultivation, addressing current challenges and introducing novel agricultural practices.

Nebraska Extension wants to help you take your soybean production to the next level with topics relating to IPM for successful weed management in soybean, soybean planter setup and adjustments, nutrient needs for Nebraska soybean, and much more. The 2024 Nebraska Soybean Production Clinic will be held Thursday, Feb. 15th at the Merrick County Youth and Agriculture Education Center, Merrick County Fairgrounds in Central City, Nebraska, starting at 9 a.m. with breakfast refreshments and time to visit with the vendors at the display booths.
