High Plains Community celebrated the profound impact of mentorship last Wednesday, coinciding with National Mentoring Month. The event, which also honored the TeamMates mentoring program, underscored the community’s commitment to fostering the growth and potential of its youth.

The Chamber Gala brought with it an opportunity to highlight the accomplishments of many, left to right from top left: Central City TeamMates, Chelle Gillan, Mitch Solt and Trent Wagner of Solt-Wagner Funeral Home, Dane Christensen, The Rodenbaugh family of Holy Grounds Coffee Co., Central City Public Library, Dr. Alyssa Fischbach-Charron, Incoming and outgoing board members.

Nebraska Extension wants to help you take your corn production to the next level with topics relating to year-round soil nitrogen management, corn planter setup and adjustments, nitrogen sources and stabilizers for corn, and much more. The 2024 Nebraska Corn Production Clinic will be held Monday, Feb. 5 at the Commercial Building, Hamilton County Fairgrounds in Aurora, Nebraska, starting at 9 a.m. with breakfast refreshments and time to visit with the vendors at the display booths.
