Locals join forces to rejuvenate walking bridge

Central City is full of hidden gems, but there is one currently being rebuilt that even longtime residents of the community may not know is there unless they are traveling by foot. Between The Oaks Care Center and the Central City United Methodist Church is a small, but important walking bridge that connects the two properties. Having been there for decades now, and being walked on by patients, doctors and anybody out for a stroll, it has aged considerably and started to become less safe.

Missoula Children’s Theatre brings “Jack and the Beanstalk” to Central City

The Missoula Children’s Theatre is in town, and local children are set to perform “Jack and the Beanstalk” this Saturday at the Central City Performing Arts Center. The performances, scheduled for 3 p.m. and 6 p.m., will showcase the young talents of Central City in a retelling of the classic tale.

Lone Tree Days 2024: A resounding success for Central City

This year’s event, which took place last week and over the weekend, has been hailed as a great success, drawing impressive crowds and delivering memorable experiences for all who attended.

.Looking back on Lone Tree Days 2024, I hope we can all agree that our community did get the gold! I believe we did keep our Kindness momentum going and we celebrated our community as winners in retail, education, healthcare, agriculture, finance, religion, service & volunteerism. Thanks to all who came out and supported and enjoyed the activities and events, spread some kindness and celebrated a great victory for our community!
