Forgetfulness and Dementia Where did I put my keys! As we age, forgetfulness becomes an increasing concern for everyone. However, most of the time it is normal and nothing to be afraid of.

America, I write this with a heart heavy with anger, sadness, and frustration. Our nation, once a beacon of hope and integrity, now finds itself caught in a cycle of political deceit and moral decay. As a parent, I dream of a day when my children can look up to our leaders with pride. Today, that dream feels more distant than ever.

Thoughts on leaving home As Daniel Boone’s mother told her young son, “A boy will remain a boy until it becomes necessary for him to become a man.” As you soon leave home an avalanche of challenges and decisions will lie before you. Your character will be tested. Many of the ruts you cut will stay with you the rest of your life so choose them carefully. The greatest danger many young people face during their first period of life is not to take a risk! Too many settle for less than they are destined to become. It is far too easy to seek out a comfort zone of mediocrity, comfort, ease and pleasure. At all costs, do not do this! Achieve what you were meant to achieve. Set goals and push yourself to achieve them!

Feeling Lonely? Loneliness and isolation are a social problem plaguing many individuals but especially our older population, but there is good news. There are things we can do to help! We are still experiencing the effects of the pandemic.
