Central Valley Ag reports strong financial performance and reinvestment at annual meeting

Central Valley Ag (CVA) Cooperative hosted its Annual Meeting at the Holthus Convention Center in York, Neb. CVA achieved $45.0 million in net savings, including $27.7 million in local operating savings, from $1.67 billion in total sales for the 2024 fiscal year, ending on August 31, 2024. The cooperative also returned over $24.0 million in cash to its members through equity redemptions and patronage dividends.

Central City viaduct project progresses with public hearing scheduled

The Nebraska Department of Transportation has scheduled a public hearing to present the preliminary design and draft Environmental Assessment for the proposed Central City Viaduct project. The hearing will take place on Wednesday, Dec. 18, at the Performing Arts Center at Central City High School and Middle School. It will begin at 5:30 p.m., with a formal presentation at 6 p.m., followed by an open house until 7:30 p.m.
