St. Paul’s Lutheran Church welcomes a new pastor

After an extended period without an official pastor, St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Central City has welcomed Rev. Erik Hart, who delivered his first sermons on November 17. For over four years, the church had a vacancy, during which Rev. Richard Kothe served as a substitute pastor, with many church members stepping in to shoulder some of the responsibilities. With Rev. Hart’s arrival, a new chapter is beginning for the congregation.

The Grand Opening

Last week served as a special moment for Scooter’s Coffee in Central City. The new addition to Central City held their grand opening where they were joined by the Central City Area Chamber of Commerce for a special ribbon cutting event. The fun didn’t stop outside as staff members helped a steady flow of customers. Jamie Nissen (Manager) and Hailee Broman (Assistant Manager) posed with the scissors inside.
