Kappa Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma Society International met in St. Paul Nebraska’s Bedhead, on March 27, 2025. President Jackie Mason called the meeting to order, minutes of the last meeting were read, and Treasurer Dianne Vorderstrasse reported the chapter’s current financial information.

“And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: andAdam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden. And the LORD God called untoAdam, and said unto him, Where art thou? And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself. And he said, Who told thee that thou wast naked? Hast thou eatenofthetree,whereofIcommanded thee that thou shouldest not eat? Andthemansaid,Thewomanwhom thou gavest to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I did eat. Drew Perdew of Central City was among 225 University of Nebraska- Lincoln undergraduate students officially admitted to teacher education programs during the 2024-25 academic year who were recognized at the second annual Teacher Education Convocation April 4 at Carolyn Pope Edwards Hall. Perdew is a sophomore in the secondary education (business, marketing and information technology) program.
