Preliminary results from the 2025 Nebraska November firearm deer season show statewide harvest fell seven percent from 2024, which was expected, according to the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission. Harvest went from 28,056 last year to 26,029 this year.

The Merrick County Historical Museum will host its traditional Christmas Tea for the first time in the gallery area of the new museum on Sunday afternoon, December 14th. The museum takes this opportunity to give back to the area with holiday entertainment and refreshments beginning at 2:00 p.m.
