Hometown hospitality is what the Methodist church in Clarks is known for. Once a month, throughout the year, you will notice the Methodist Church is one of the busiest spots in the town of Clarks. When the café closed in Clarks there was a need for a place to go for a good hot meal, that’s when the ladies at the Methodist Church stepped in. There’s no better place to go for a good, home cooked, meal have plenty of opportunity to visit with your neighbor or meet someone new in town. The church ladies get together once a month to discuss what the main course will be. Over the years they’ve had hot roast beef sandwiches, pulled pork, baked potato bar, soups, grilled hamburgers, just to name a few! Once the main course is set then there is a phone call chain seeing who can contribute a side dish or a dessert. There is never a lack of choices! If you’re in a rush, especially during harvest time, there are to go boxes available. There is no better place to sit and enjoy good conversations and good food in Clarks! Be sure to stop in next month and enjoy a great lunch!
