New statue in honor of Patricia Campbell erected at Central City Public Library

On Monday, August 26, a new bronze statue was erected at the Central City Public Library, dedicated to Patricia Campbell, who donated half of her estate to the five-star library. The statue was created by internationally acclaimed sculptor George Lundeen, a Nebraska native who works out of his studio in Loveland, Colorado. The installation of the bronze statue is the culmination of a collaboration between Lundeen and the Library Board, a project that has taken many years to come to fruition.
