Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost. 2 Peter 1:20-21 KJV Ephesians 3:1-7 KJV 1 For this cause I Paul, the prisoner of Jesus Christ for you Gentiles, 2 If ye have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which is given 3 How that by revelation he made known unto me the mystery; (as I wrote afore in few words, 4Whereby,whenyeread,yemay understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ) 5 Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit; 6 That the Gentiles should be fellowheirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel: 7 Whereof I was made a minister, according to the gift of the grace of God given unto me by the effectual working of his power.

The bridges of Merrick County: A testament to time and innovation

Body
In Merrick County, the bridges—228 in all—are more than mere structures of concrete and steel. They are the lifelines that connect communities, the pathways that traverse the storied landscape of Nebraska. Each bridge, whether hidden on a dusty backroad or standing prominently along a highway, carries with it the weight of history, much like the bridges that served as the backdrop to the romance and nostalgia of The Bridges of Madison County.
