Body The Nebraska Christian track and field teams turned in another dominant performance last Wednesday, winning the boys’ and girls’ team competitions in impressive fashion at the High Plains Invite in Osceola.

Body It came down to the wire between Nebraska Christian and Elm Creek in the team competition of last Tuesday’s Wood River Invite, but twenty-two medals, including eight firstplace finishes, pushed the Eagles to the top of the standings.

Spring shotgun turkey season opens April 18th

Body Turkey hunters will take to the woods for Nebraska’s spring shotgun season April 18. They can expect a season consistent with the past five years, according to Carlie Gizel, wild turkey program manager for the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission.

Body Central City/Centura endured its first setback of the season last Tuesday but wasted little time bouncing back, falling 11-4 to Hastings at home before rallying for an 8-7 road victory over Holdrege just three days later.
