Body On Sunday, I was a bit disturbed. After a grueling four days covering the state wrestling tournament in Omaha, late Saturday night I returned home, and I was ready for a long night of deep sleep.

Body This week, we celebrate National School Choice Week. As Senator, common-sense education policy is a top priority. My mother was a proud Nebraska educator. I know how much Nebraska teachers do for students and families. We saw this especially during the pandemic.

With liberty and justice for all

Body I have an old mantra that, if you want to be a good community journalist, just make sure that you say the Pledge of Allegiance or stand for the national anthem at least three or four times a week.
