Central City is gearing up for a vibrant and festive celebration this holiday season with the “Hawaiian Holidays” event, scheduled for Sunday, Dec. 8, from 2 to 5 p.m. The community-wide celebration will take place at the Merrick County Courthouse Square and the Central City Elementary School, offering a range of free, family-friendly activities designed to bring joy to all ages.

It was a chilly but exciting Friday morning as ticket sales for Larry the Cable Guy’s upcoming performance in Central City kicked off. A line of eager fans wrapped around the Bison Activity Dome, with some arriving as early as 5:30 a.m. to secure their spot for the January 25 show.
