Rural volunteer fire crews from Central City and Clarks became the protagonists in a gripping afternoon saga, as they raced against time to quell a cornfield fire that threatened to scar the landscape they hold dear.

The 96th Annual Nebraska State FFA Convention, held April 3-5 in Lincoln, was a vibrant gathering of over 7,000 FFA members, advisors, and guests. Each spring, this significant event welcomes attendees to partake in a host of activities designed to bolster agricultural education and leadership, including general sessions, competitive events, educational tours, leadership workshops, and a Career Fair and Expo.
