When Nebraska Farmers Union President John Hansen looks at the last two presidential administrations, he can see some of those differences, while acknowledging, “We work with whoever gets elected.”

Central City’s CNA program prepares the next generation of caregivers

In a quiet classroom at Central City High School, the next generation of caregivers is being trained—students who will soon offer comfort and support to the community’s elderly and vulnerable. For the first time, the school is offering a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) course in partnership with Central Community College Columbus. The course allows students to earn dual credit while preparing them for careers in healthcare, a field in critical need of skilled, compassionate workers.

Grace Bible Fellowship celebrates the miracle of music

On Sunday, October 13th, Grace Bible Fellowship hosted a special Harvest Music Festival, bringing the community together for an evening of worship through music. Attendees began arriving just before 6:00 p.m. for the event, which was organized by Ron Burtz, who led the program alongside his good friend and second cousin, Steve Swanson. Steve, who traveled from Newport, showcased his piano-playing skills throughout the evening.
