Senator Loren Lippincott • District 34 Last Wednesday, Charlie Kirk was assassinated by a gunman on the Utah Valley University campus, where thousands of mostly college-age young people had gathered to hear him speak and ask him legitimate questions about faith, politics, and life. Charlie Kirk had a gift for relating to young people searching for answers.

Central City Police work grant

Officers with the Central City Police Department worked the “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over” grant that ran from August 16th until September 1, 2025. The Nebraska Department of Transportation awarded the Central City Police Department this grant after all the required paperwork was received by the Nebraska Highway Safety Office.
