Hillmer adds to Clarks business community

Body In recent years a portion of the residents of Clarks have come together to inject new life into the community. For decades community members have watched small town America fade away, but in Clarks the fight to stay alive remains.

County Board holds meeting

Body On Tuesday morning the Merrick County Board of Supervisors met for their regularly scheduled meeting with a far shorter agenda then they have in previous meetings, but there was still some important topics to be discussed.

Body Central City has many traditions that come and go each year, but a tradition of honoring our Nation’s heroes each Veterans Day just might be the most important celebration each year.
Preserving our Heroes The Clarke Family has stepped up once again to give back to our community and this time to support our local heroes and the Veterans Memorial. Others can donate on Friday during the annual service at the memorial. Front row, Joe, Morgan and Cyndi Clarke present a $10,000 check to American Legion Post #6 with Jack McMahon, Amber Jensen (Merrick Foundation) Rick Kunz and Tom Reimers joining them.
