Today’s announcement comes on the heels of EPA’s announcement earlier this year to grant a year-round E15 waiver for eight states including Nebraska beginning in 2025. We appreciate EPA’s decision to provide consumers with an affordable and sustainable fuel option, however, it also highlights the need for a permanent solution.”

Nebraska Crati Brewery Board Seeks Project Proposals to Help Grow Industry

Grow Local. Brew Local. Buy Local.” That’s the mission statement of the Nebraska Craft Brewery Board and the inspiration behind growing the state’s craft brewery industry. To help achieve that mission, the Nebraska Craft Brewery Board is seeking project proposals from growers, industry organizations, state and local agencies, educational groups, and others to fund research, development, and marketing projects in Nebraska’s craft brewing industry. This year, the Board anticipates allocating approximately $120,000 in grants to fund such projects. The deadline to submit proposals is April 30, 2024.

This week’s farmer used to run that cattle operation. You see, once upon a time, Roy Dinsdale asked Russ Kucera if he’d come to Central City from Palmer and look after the cattle operation when the previous caretaker retired.

Average gasoline prices in Nebraska have fallen 6.0 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $3.37/g today, according to Gas-Buddy’s survey of 1,150 stations in Nebraska. Prices in Nebraska are 1.6 cents per gallon lower than a month ago and stand 13.7 cents per gallon lower than a year ago. The national average price of diesel has decreased 0.4 cents in the last week and stands at $4.01 per gallon.
