Founded by Dennis, a pediatrician, and Kari Valentine, an occupational therapist, the organization sprouted from the need to bridge significant gaps in the current healthcare system for some of the most vulnerable groups.

A Night of Celebrations and Farewells: Central City FFA honors achievements and seniors

In a touching and spirited evening last Friday, the Central City FFA chapter gathered in the Merrick County 4-H Building for their annual banquet, a celebration packed with emotion, pride, and community support. The event, marked by moments of joy and poignant goodbyes, saw a very large crowd cheering for the achievements of these young leaders, particularly the senior members who retired their iconic FFA jackets in a ceremony filled with gratitude and reflections.

After finishing a final internship and graduation with his PharmD degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Pharmacist Travis Kuchar will the full time staff at Norm’s Pharmacy as he begins his career in the field. “I like the small community feeling, it’s what I’m used to” says Kuchar.
